What are dermal filler products?
Filler products come in a variety of brands and consistencies. They are made from a synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) gel that is compatible with the body. Hyaluronic acid is produced naturally in the body and is responsible for hydration and lubrication. When injected, the body metabolizes dermal fillers naturally, giving an incredibly natural look and feel. They can restore lost volume and add shape and contour to the face. Dermal fillers are fully dissolvable if you wish to reverse the results.

How does it work?
Prior to your treatment, we will assess your facial appearance and structure, as well as the current condition of your skin, to determine how your unique features are aging. Strategic points on your face can be marked to help you and our injectors visualise the appropriate injection sites.
The skin is composed of two layers, the epidermis (outermost layer) and the dermis (deepest layers). Using the appropriate needle, our doctors, Dr. Thanh and Dr. Gia, will slide the dermal filler under the skin to fill the soft tissue of the dermis. A topical numbing cream may be used in certain areas of the face for a more comfortable treatment experience.

Your Results
The results of your injections are visible immediately. You may experience some swelling and tenderness around the injection site, which will fade over the days following your treatment.
Depending on the area of your treatment and the type of filler product used, results can last from six months to two years. Fillers products can be used to enhance your best features, while restoring your younger appearance.

Are dermal fillers painful?
Some injection areas are more sensitive than others, but most people find the procedure quite tolerable. Depending on the area injected, we can reduce the pain with an anaesthetic cream or ice application.
Can I combine dermal fillers with other procedures?
Yes, our patients love to combine their dermal fillers with treatments such as neuromodulators and other facial injections. Combined treatments can actually improve the final result.
How long is the recovery time after a filling treatment?
Almost all patients are able to return to their daily routine within 24 to 72 hours of the filling treatment, with most returning to work immediately after treatment. In some cases, slight swelling and bruising may persist for 10 to 14 days.
Will people know that I have received a filler?
Apart from the fact that you might notice some swelling immediately after the procedure, there is no indication that you have had a filler. Dr. Thanh and Dr. Gia are experienced and know how to inject the right amounts to achieve very natural results.
You may get a ton of compliments… but no one will be able to tell what’s different.
How long before an event should I get filler?
If you have never had filler before, we recommend that you have it done 1-2 months before a big event. This will ensure that you like the result and give you time to touch up if necessary. With this time frame, you may also decide that you want more product.
